A Home from Home

We are small and friendly. We like it that way and so it seems do our children and parents. It’s this that enables us to create a second family home for the children who join us.

A lot of our parents talk to us about “a gut feeling” when they first visit us. We’ve wondered a lot about what this feeling might be. We’d like to think it’s something about the warmth of our team and the richness of the environment around us. We feel that Jack In the Box is a small place for big dreams, a place where little people take big steps. Our children are our “stewards of the future” and we provide authentic resources, natural, recycled materials, and calm and tranquil spaces for children to play and learn, moving away from brightly coloured plastic and toys that only serve one purpose and invariably end up in landfill.

Beautiful environments where the children can relax, play and learn are a very important element of JITBX; we are fortunate to be surrounded by lots of outside play space and the children take full advantage of this, from local walks into the beautiful Herefordshire countryside, to the fantastic woodland and Forest School at Leadon Lodge. What more could children ask for? Oh, but let’s not forget to mention the mud pit!

Our philosophy is simple, at JITBX the children are placed at the heart of everything we do.

So I guess we are about a home from home feeling, a bit busy, a bit messy, with a lot of fun and games thrown in.
But don’t take our word for it come and talk to our children and parents and see what they think.
